Ammonium Tetrathiomolybdate is a dark reddish, crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water. It is a high purity compound. It is known colloquially as "ATTM".

This product is packaged under an inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation. Oxidation will slowly begin on exposure to the atmosphere, releasing Ammonia, Sulfur Dioxide, and some Hydrogen Sulfide. It is therefore recommended to utilize the product soon after opening - it is recommended to use within 60 days of opening - or use under appropriate conditions and to keep away from direct sunlight or sources of heat.

Ammonium Tetrathiomolybdate has applications in petro-chemical catalysis, biochemical research as a metal-ion ligand, and is effective at sequestering Cu ions.
